McKenna James Boeckner (they/them) is a PhD candidate in English at the University of New Brunswick (territory of the Wolastoqiyik) with an anticipated defense in Summer 2026. Their scholarly specialization lies at the intersection of eighteenth-century literature – primarily theatre – and contemporary queer theory. They are also a playwright; their most recent project, Us Soliscent Seeds, is available as an audiodrama wherever you listen to podcasts.
